One of the books to read on DJ's list is How to Win Friends & Influence People by Dale Carnegie. I took advantage of sitting around airports today to start reading this book. I like it. This jumped out at me today,"I shall pass this way but once; any good, therefore that I can do or any kindness that I can show to any human being, let me do it now. Let me not defer nor neglect it, for I shall not pass this way again."
I really like this, I thought about how I could apply that to my life. I saw all these people at the airport today. So many of them, people with lives and thoughts and dreams. So many opportunities to be kind. And this would be my only chance to be kind to them, because I would never see them again. I didn't have any opportunity to be nice to them, because they were all just sitting around waiting too. But it felt good to see them this way.

Hi Jacquie! It's great to see you pluggin' away at your blog. I need to incorporate some of what DJ recommened in mine. I really like these and the lighting on the B/W one is gorgeous! Bet you can't wait till Hallmark huh!
