Baby A
Well I made it trough my 41st birthday! It was not that bad. I don't feel any older, if anything I feel younger.
This is my birthday present, a visit from Baby A. His Mommy and Daddy buzzed off his hair because it was all different lengths and because that's how his Daddy wears his hair. The strange thing is it almost looks blond now.
He is soooooo cute :-)

So I settle
Today is hard for some reason. It is a day of denial. What I think I need and want is not healthy for me. But my mind does not care. It is constantly telling me what it wants. I want coffee it says...I say no. I want something to eat...I say no cause I already had something to eat. I want to go sleep..OK that one I might really need but can't do cause I have things to do. So it is hard to concentrate with this constant want and denial going on in my head. It will be OK soon.

Tired
Coffee
2 Days without it. I feel better already. This is Tracey and I on our walk. Sometimes during break that's what we do.
Tracey is getting married on April 7th. So things are getting crazy for her. I am very happy for her and I can't wait!
I have 3 galleries posted out of 9 moving along...slowly. And I have another game to shoot tonight. Yikes I don't even have any clean cards. I better go!
See ya!

Day One...
Ok I want coffee...but I am not having any. I am cheating a bit and having hot chocolate. In a week I will be totally caffeine free. Caffeine is bad...for me anyway..but if you want to drink it, or eat it, I have no problems with that :-)
Here are my 3 favorite pictures from the Enterprise vs West Valley game.
Here is the gallery posted at Maxpreps from this game.
This was a huge rivalry game...and a Championship game to boot. It was also the 9th game I shot over the coarse of 2 days. I was kind of tired. I was worried about my strobes holding up. I had them up in the bleachers. These bleachers did not have rails so I couldn't zip tie the strobes to the rails. Also the foot wells were open. The type where stuff can and does fall threw regularly. So I had to figure out some way to secure my light stands. I zip tied the legs to the metal supports that hold the board for your feet to rest. It is hard to explain, but it worked very well. If you look at the picture below you can see how crowed it was, and all the wild kids decided to sit around my strobe. Somehow...I don't really know how, it survived and worked all night. Oh except the one time when someone thought it would be cute to turn it off. That was fun, I had to wade through all those kids to get to it. Where the bright light is, that's my strobe going off.
One last thing...I have to say sorry to all the media people in Northern California, for some reason I am obsessed with taking their pictures. Especially photographers and cameramen. This is Andreas. This is 3 of the about 20 pictures I took of him. :-) I also have pictures of cameramen and Jason from the Chico ER I will post later.

Basketball
Yesterday and today I was shooting Basketball. I have not shot in a long time. It was fun, but I am tired. I have 18 gigs of pictures...about 1800 pictures. I am tired Here are a few I took. If I come across something spectacular I will post it.
I was worried about my strobes getting broken, because it was very crowded. I had them sitting up in the stands. They survived. I zip tied them to the stands. So tired will tell you more about it later! Hope you are all having a good weekend.
